Acting like any sport is a skill learned over time; creativity, focus, imagination and technical skill, require practice and time in order to develop, the same way muscles do. The course works from basis of scene work and focuses on screencraft, audition technique and script interpretation.
The curriculum of our weekly classes has been selected to allow students to explore the joy and self confidence found in performing while carefully guiding them through the technical skills required of the working actor.
Students will be expected to prepare their individually selected scene for each class. Regular classes run in line with the 10 week school term and have limited class sizes for maximum individual attention.
